I am a mason and can get about 10 years out of one of these tool bags. Weather and construction environment takes its toll, but the mortar (has lime in it and cement) eats fabric up. This canvas resist mortar wear the best. Highly recommended this bag to any professional.

Decent Carry Tool Bag

Purchased Mason's Tool Bag to carry my traveling tools. My original bag is a 30+ years old made in USA. Found a very close copy made in India by Style & Craft. That way I can split the load from just one tool bag (getting to be close to 70 Lbs. for just one bag) into 2 bags. Had a Made in China tool bag that was complete garbage (NOT Style & Craft) - didn't even last a year.

This tool bag should do better. We'll see if it makes it to 5 years.

The add specifically said that the bag had more pockets (only 1 inside) so was disappointed in that. The bag is high quality but as a Mason, and I speak for several, we like more pockets. Craftsman made a bag that several of my colleagues used for years simply because it had more storage pockets.
