Good Mask for Sharp Edge of Hatchet

Good fit and good (full grain) leather. As a "mask" for the sharpened edge the Style & Craft is a good option. It is well made with stitching as well as rivets in key locations. For a full-coverage "sheath" instead of the edge (only) mask, Harry J. Epstein Company is a good option.

I have a hatchet that is five and a half inches from tip to butt and the blade is three and a quarter inches long. Do you have any thing to fit that? I also have a roofing hatch that is six and a half inches from tip to the hammer head and a three and a half inch blade, that I need a sheath for. 1. For the 5-1/2" long (front to back) and 3-1/4" long blade, the 98026 hatchet sheath (https://www.stylencraft.com/collections/tool-holders/products/98026-sportsman-s-axe-sheath-in-dark-tan-heavy-top-grain-leather) should work as the length of the sheath from the inside of the rivets (on the front) to the back edge of the sheath is 5" and this sheath fits a blade of up to 3-1/4" long. You will need to see if the shape of your hatchet matches the sheath.
2. For the roofing hatchet, the length of the blade would fit easily in the 98025 axe sheath (https://www.stylencraft.com/collections/tool-holders/products/98025-campers-hatchet-sheath-in-dark-tan-heavy-top-grain-leather) but I am not sure if the strap would go around the handle and snap back on.
On the axe sheath 98027 (https://www.stylencraft.com/collections/tool-holders/products/98027-campers-axe-sheath-in-dark-tan-heavy-top-grain-leather) you should be able to buckle the strap back on after going around the handle but this sheath is made for axes with blades of up to 4-3/4" long. I have given the links of the 3 sheaths so you can check them out. You can purchase them to check which ones work with your hatchets. The ones that don't work, can be sent back for a refund.

I too am interested in knowing if this fits a fiskars x7 hatchet. The cutting edge is under 3 inches, but the flare at the end of the handle might make it impossible to slip through the bottom hole. Can anyone tell if this fits the x7?

The cutting edge of the blade will fit but I don't think the handle Fiskars x7 hatchet will slip through the bottom hole. This axe sheath is made keeping in mind the Estwing sportsman's axe.
